Downtown Plymouth Dormer

This project consisted of taking the entire roof off the house and rebuilding the second floor to include three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The design was simple as the owner wanted to keep the original style in mind and blend in with the existing neighborhood. A second furnace and A/C were added to ensure a properly heated and cooled space. The original porch was taken down as well and a new covered porch added with a tongue and groove cedar ceiling and Trex porch and railings. The rear of the first floor was also bumped out to make room for a new mudroom, full bath and enlarged kitchen. New hardwoods were blended into the existing and stained with a whitewash.

The exterior is James Hardie Dream Color Lap siding and trim boards to match the garage that was build previously.
